the d18p is a 2011 model with sealed grover tuners, rosewood fretboard & bridge -
the 2012 model has open-back tuners, ebony fretboard & bridge & the P neck carve

looking at the pics of the DN5 & i like the grain pattern on the top - nice :)
there's a new 2011 d18p there also (for not much more $)
