It should arrive tomorrow, and I'm going to try recording it if my noisy dogs and cats will let me!

The truss rod cover is held in place with a magnet, and Brad's pulling it off with another, stronger magnet.

The guitar just arrived by the way! It looks good and plays well. Sounds good too, with a really interesting balance between bass (which has a bit less sustain) and treble (which rings out more freely). It's very nice, but I bet it will open up a bit as I play it.

More later!

After playing the new Carmen for the last few hours, it is a superb instrument. It is balanced and has a simply gorgeous and inviting tone. It is equally good for both chords and single notes. And it is CLEAR, with the sound of the notes readily apparent through the overtones. The neck and setup out of the box are easy to play and very comfortable in the hand. My verdict? It Far Exceeds Expectations.

Well done, Brad!
