Sounds pretty good to me.

Can you compare the playability of the Lowden with the GS Mini? I realise the 12 fret difference may make it difficult, but my experience with the GSme is that I don't find it that comfortable to play. I've changed the strings to Custom Lights and it's a little better but I'm guessing I don't play it enough. When I do pick it up, it's usually straight after playing an 812 or a 614 and, obviously, it's a bit different!

thx!

in terms of playability, the wee is smaller than the gs mini, i know a lot of people love the gs mini but i found the narrow nut width to be annoying. the mediums that come the gs mini was noticeable compared to the lights on all my other guitars. i also always noticed the curved back when playing too. i never really cared for the open pore finish on the gs mini either. the only thing that really bothered me enough was the narrow nut width. the koa def takes time to open up as well. i had it for 2 years and noticed how the low end bass response started to strengthen

that’s why i ended up selling my koa gs mini, i initially bought a sheeran w03 - bc it had a 1.75” nut width - that started my journey into lowden and the rest is history :)
