Played every guitar in stock the shorter scale and the Taylor neck was the ticket for Comfort. Great amplified as well.

Congratulations on both accounts.  The American Dream series are excellent players, I am certain you are going to love it for years to come.

Wish u a speedy recovery ddown!
Congrats on your new AD22e.  It's on my radar for my next guitar.  I want to play the AD22e against the 322e to see which one I like.

Enjoy your new Taylor!

Indeed, good news on all fronts, DDown!

Long ago I had a bout with Carpet Tunnel and it freaked me out!  Slow process back, and I was chastised by other players (rightfully so!) to ease in carefully so as not to prolong the healing process.  Tread carefully, and I wish you a full recovery!! :D

^^ Sage advice.  As my wife and I often joke:  "Don't be a guy!"  Guys tend to get back into an activity way too fast after an injury, as soon as they start feeling better, and well before the healing process is complete.  That can set your ultimate recovery back considerably.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby
