Here's a few more pictures https://imgur.com/a/jJgI8js for your enjoyment. I honestly don't know how to describe this guitar. It's full, balanced, bright, and deep. It's just crazy how much it delivers.

It's such a beauty!

As the guitar aged, its tone darkened and mellowed to a point where it no longer suited my playing style. It sounded more like a Martin than a Taylor, but it is a great-sounding guitar. I believe that it's still on consignment at Martin Music in Memphis TN, but it is not on their website.

I grew up in (near) the redwood forest in Northern California and those trees have always given me great peace. They are majestic. So I have always been drawn to the beauty of redwood guitars. I owned a Lowden with a sinker redwood top and would just stare at it for long moments at a time. Ultimately I sold it because I was not a fan of the blackwood back and sides, but I have no doubt one of these days a redwood guitar will make it back into my house, and it will most certainly be a Taylor.
