I got the opportunity to see my first road show outside of the USA... I've been to the big one Tobias has in Chicago, IL and I had a few friends here in Sydney that were Taylor owners that had never been to one so we headed to one being held last night and it was heaps of fun... It was a pretty small venue for it but I think it made for some nicer acoustics for the guitars to fill up the room when Andy Lund played the different guitars for us, and he also played a 314 and a 414 in the tonewood comparison part of the show which I thought was pretty cool to hear someone play those next to the other woods they are similar to... AND as a double bonus I got a new taylor shirt!!! haha, my wife would throttle me if I had come home with another guitar!!!
... I didn't get to see any of the new models that I was hoping to see (new 700 series and GSMM), but I"m sure soon enough I'll be able to check them out whenever they make it to the shops over here
