Very nice ...I prefer it, personally.  I was never a fan of the gold machines Taylor uses; I never liked that hue of "gold" they use so yes, the chrome is much nicer, as is the TRC ...congrats!

BTW, as a sidenote, next time you change strings remember the wrap sits above the string on the tuning post as opposed to the string above the wrap; the first pic is correct, the second isn't.  Not that this causes any issues so I'd not bother doing anything about it.  Just thought I'd throw that out to ya for the next string change.  Enjoy it ...looks great! :)

Ha! I saw that when I posted. Probably happened because I was using the same strings. It’ll bug me till I fix it.

Simple mods on a guitar are reflective of the player's musical personality.  I'm thinking about a truss rod cover with a peace symbol for my Taylor 524ce FM Ltd.  Cheers!
