Workflow on a mac/pc:
1. Host Image: (I use imgur)

* Create an account at https://imgur.com/

* Upload photo (you can make it private and/or don't publish to imgur)
* Hover mouse over photo, upper right hand corner, you can click to see an option for "get share links"
*
* use the option for BBC forums
*
2. Resize the image

* if you add a "m" (for medium sized) or "l" (for large size) before the extension of your file (*m.jpg or *l.jpg) and imgur will resize for you
* example: imgur.com/example.jpg
* medium sized photo: imgur.com/examplem.jpg
* large sized photo: imgur.com/examplel.jpg
3. Insert into post:

* paste the link w/ any "m" or "l" suffix into your post.
4. Preview post (optional)

* press preview button to see how post will look
* adjust size in step 2 above, as necessary

Doc Dan:
A really good a SIMPLE way to post pictures is to go to postimage.org. Click choose images and select your picture. Click hotlink for forums. Paste the link in the thread. Simple and easy.

Wow, that is easy. I tried it out here and on another forum. You can change the size of the image too. Worked great.
Thanks for sharing that useful tip.

Doc Dan:
You're welcome. I've tried so many of those and then someone turned me on to this one and I've never looked back. It is all I ever use, nowadays. It has other options, as well.
