I was looking through a box of stuff and came across a Snark neo tortoiseshell pick so I gave it a go and really liked it. I didn't know what gauge it was so I ordered a pack of 0.94mm and a pack of 1.07mm
What surprised me was how different they sound, the thinner ones are much brighter than the 1.07. Even my wife and daughter could easily tell the difference.

cool! i like thinner picks - my pick of choice is the dunlop primetone 0.73mm :)

Yup, while not as dramatic as a string change, picks make a marked difference in tone. For me, my progression went from beginner with the ubiquitous fender medium to gator grip 1.14. And for electric I use the gator grip 1.5. It's all about feel and tone ...glad you found yours! :)

yes I've been using Fender heavy's for a while but I'm going to give these a go for now.

I use the Fender medium. Anybody know how thick it is? I have always thought it is .75mm

I mainly use these in heavy ( .96 ). They sound great because they glow in the dark and have Alien Technology.

Glow in the dark picks always sound better and alien technology goes without saying.

I'm in the UK CC7, they cripple us with import duty on alien technology 😁

Sure, I've got to say that these have become my favourite picks now.

Here's another photo. I bought a dozen and really like them. They fit in well with the myriad number of picks I can choose from. There is a notable difference in tone.

This is the same pick that George Noory uses. He got them from a reliable source.
