Title: Hello from Western Pennsylvania
Post by: cjd-player on December 13, 2011, 08:33:37 AM
Hello, my name is Carl.   I'm 55 yrs old and have been playing since I was a teen.  Started with a second-hand Harmony Monterey archtop that my dad brought home from work one day.   Bought an Ovation Celebrity in college, and was on and off playing the guitar for many years.  Started playing in a church worship band about 15 years ago, and bought a Taylor 814ce.   Been a Taylor fan ever since.

Taylors I've had:  1998 814ce,  2000 W14ce,  2003 812ce

My current lot:  2006 814ce LTD (Sitka on Mad Rosewood),  2010 BTO Grand Concert (Premium Redwood on EIR),
2010 312ce (kept in DADGAD),  Recording King ROJ-16 (my beater)

I play almost exclusively solo fingerstyle, and all but one of my guitars are short scale for the easier playability.
