Title: First South African onboard?

I'm Dillon from Durban, South Africa. I've been playing acoustic guitar since '98 and I've been lucky enough to own my dream guitar - a Taylor 410ce, for a little over a year now.

I haven't heard of any other forum members from South Africa but can't be certain you are the first. I believe you are the first to post from there though! ;)

How is the humidity there? ???

The humidity is crazy here, we certainly don't have to be concerned with guitars drying out or getting 'thirsty'. If anything, there's a problem with too much humidity, especially now with the hot, wet summer months approaching. Relative humidity is usually in the low to mid 70% range from October through to March, from April it usually drops into the 60% range, with lowest being in June and July before picking up again in September.
