BTW, I am playing my short scale 2012 Taylor 814c with a Fishman Aura Ellipse installed with preamp inside the soundhole. I like the ES1.3 and the ES2, but I am very pleased with how the Aura sounds. The recording level is a little low, but you get the idea. :D If I recall correctly, I was using the Shure SM-58 image here, but Fishman has four microphone images specifically for the 814 in the free Aura Image Gallery. The others are: DPA 4011, Neumann U87 and Neumann KM84.
