Greetings from the Stevens Point/Wausau area in Wisconsin!  I am thankful for all the resources available on this forum.  A big thanks to all the administrators!

I have been a fan of Taylor guitars for a few years now.  I just purchased a 414ceFLTD (Tasmanian Blackwood/Western Red Cedar) to replace my 210ce which I am in the process of selling.  I spent about a month making my decision, stopping in the music store several times to play various models.  The 414ceFLTD will be a nice complement to my 455ce, one of the finest sounding 12-string guitars I have ever played.  I will be using both of these instruments on a regular basis on Sundays as a worship leader at my church.

I'm happy to officially be a member of this forum.

Hi Art and welcome to the forum! :) You have some terrific Taylor Guitars, and I wish you continued enjoyment with your new 414ceFLTD. Have you used it for leading worship yet? Just wondering how it sounds. :D

Thanks, Cindy, for the prompt reply.  No, I haven't used the 414ceFLTD to lead worship yet.  I am going to in the near future.  I have used both the 210ce and the 455ce with rave reviews!  I play with several different worship bands at my church, and I always get positive feedback when I use the 12-string.  The sound is so rich and full, and the action is very user-friendly, even when using bar-chords.

Have you received any negative comments on the 414ceFLTDs?  I only saw one negative comment on this forum, where someone stated that it had a "chimney" sound.  I'm not sure what that means.  My 414ce has a beautiful tone with much more expression on both the high and low ends than my 210ce.

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Blessings,
Art

Welcome to the forum Art.  Nice choice on the 414ce the blackwood adds and nice tone, and I am a big cedar fan.
