Hi guys,
My name is Harin and i'm from Sri Lanka. For those of you who don't know where my country is, it is the small dot below India :) This is my first time here. i received my first Taylor a brand new Taylor 314ce on Saturday :) it is so far one of the greatest moments of my life as it was a dream for me to own a taylor!

Hi Harin, welcome to the forum, there are a lot of very informed and friendly people here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Coincedentaly, my daughter flew into Colombo yesterday; she is staying with her friend's family in Kandy, before heading to Mumbai at the end of the week. Had an email from her this morning and she is really enjoying her stay in your Country.

Hi Harin, welcome to the forum, there are a lot of very informed and friendly people here, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Oh really? Thats good to hear :) Kandy is a really nice part of Sri Lanka and i'm sure she must be definitely enjoying herself..

Hi there.. Harin.. I know that you will enjoy this forum. There is a lot to contribute and learn here.
Just as a side note... I noticed on another thread that you like gospel music... don't know if you have
heard of the Vineyard UK groups, but thought you might be interested. Here is one of their great songs..
They have reinvigorated my guitar playing and interest in unique and honest worship music...

Yes! i have heard of Vineyard. I used to listen to them a lot a few years back, and then was distracted by other bands. thanks for the link will check it out :) Listen to Paul Baloche, Jeremy camp as well, they're good too..

Thanks! haha well done! :) don't worry there are many people who don't know where the country is ;D you guys a re so blessed to have so many guitar stores! here we have only one proper store in the entire country and they only sell Yamaha's and Chinese Takamines :( which is why i got my Taylor down from the States through a friend of mine..
