Got the invite to join, so here I am!
I'm new to guitar, having only been trying to make steel strings sing for a few months. My wife told me the other day that she actually recognized what I was trying to play. :)
I own a GS8, a Breedlove, and a couple ukuleles. Having fun learning, and here to pick up more info!
I'll be lurking around. Thanks for having me!

Welcome MAS,
Before coming to Florida I lived in the Laguna area for a time, Sometimes I miss the weather, but don't miss the traffic much.

Welcome to the forum, MAS! I live on the other side of the country about 45 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. :) One day I hope to visit California! Nice wife you've got there...not all spouses like to listen to practicing. Obviously you are headed in the right direction if she knew what you were playing! Yea!!! ;)

So. Cal....nice. I love San Diego - the weather is always sunny and 60s. We lived in Monterey for about 8 years and that was really nice. We currently live in Virginia but retiring to Montana in a few years.
So back to the original reason I came here, welcome to the UTGF and please go visit the Taylor factory for me..... ;D

Welcome MAS,
We are glad you stopped by to become a part of this group. I've had a guitar since teh early days adn I look to try and learn something each day. Oh, did I tell you I am a slow learner. I should be one of the top 10 guitarist in the world as long as I've owned one :) I am blessed though to do what I do.
