Ok, I had a GA8 a while back, and removing that end pin for a pickup install was a simple matter of using the correct size Allen wrench.
However on my 717 it appears that there is a different mechanism for holding the end pin in place that I cannot match up with any of my tools, including those star shaped torx bits.
Anyone have a clue as to how to go about removing this end pin?
Thanks

Never mind.....
I just was not looking at the 'bigger' picture. Turns out that I needed a larger allen wrench than I remembered......
That's what I get for looking at this at 1:00am on New Year's morning.......
Doh!
Happy New Year!!!!

Curious what your'e putting in for a pick up. I have been considering a LR Baggs Anthem or Lyric. I don't like to play with a pick and want something to make it a bit louder. Didn't want ES2 electronics as I didn't want holes drilled in my Builder's Edition. Thanks for your reply

Going with a Schertler AG6 + S-Mic-M.
Wanted to go with a sound hole. Was leaning towards a Fishman Rare Earth Blend, but decided to give the Schertler a try.
