Ok, here is my 2010 814ce Tobacco Burst.  The photo was taken on May 1, 2011.

Barefooter - what a beautiful guitar! The finish is just amazing, almost like there is depth to it and you could fall in. Very, very, nice!

Thanks for the compliments on the guitar everyone.  Lighting can affect color in photos from time to time, but this was in natural light with no flash.  I took the picture with the wife's Cannon Rebel.  The actual color is a "little" darker than what is depicted, but just slightly.

Although not as lovely as others in this post, here are some of my favorites.

Here we go:

Definite beauties, to be sure, but the "rarity" factor is even cooler.  Nice!
And great seeing you here, SF!  :D

Here are some shots we took during our "photoshoot" for the 2010 Taylor photo contest.  Clearly, we didn't win, but we tried to utilize the "cuteness" factor of our family along with hoping for bonus points being a multiple Taylor owner...  Turns out many of you are equally as cute (or cuter) as families and also own multiple Taylors :)  Go figure...

Since those pictures were taken, our daughter has turned three and we've added a son (now one).  Sadly...no new guitars since then :(

The 614ce is curly, the 612ce is flamey, and the Baby maple is mostly flamey as well.  Also below is a shot of the custom TRCs we ordered from Bill Nichols.  That verse was our wedding verse.

Aaron,

You have some nice looking instruments there.  I enjoyed the various shots.  I really enjoyed seeing the happiness and joy on everyone's faces with the family.  You seemed to be a blessed man.

Hi Brian,
haven't seen you around here lately & i guess y'all are on winter break now

hope you have a wonderful holiday season - merry Christmas & happy New Year :)
just wondering if these are a LTD series, seeing that there are 3 different models -
they look like vintageburst gloss rosewood 400s with more intricate fretmarkers

have a good one

The sides on that Dreadnought sure does look like Madagascar to me  :-\   That would be Awsome to do a Madi / Adi .400 like that. with CV bracing to boot!

I took a bunch of different guitar photos to try to get one I liked to enter into Josh's photo contest. When I was finished, I ended up having two different ones that I really liked. Since the one for the contest will be reduced to a small size to become the facebook profile photo for the Facebook page, I felt the one I entered fit this expectation better than this one (because this one has several smaller items besides the guitar in the photo that you wouldn't really be able to see well in a small Facebook profile-size photo). However, for full size photo enjoyment, I wanted to share this other one that I also liked!

Very beautiful picture of a very beautiful guitar. The "matching" mug is a nice touch. :-)

I've probably already repeated myself too many times regarding how much I like the Taylor 6xx-L30 inlays, but they truly are stunning.

... Does your daughter know about your secret life with her guitar?  ;)

Thank you for your kind comments, spieler  :)

Yeah - she knows. She is usually using it, so I had to steal it away late at night from her and take it to the basement for the photo session! She will be using it again tonight for a show in Detroit at some art gallery in a loft in downtown Detroit. I have a 612 ce, which I love dearly, but when it's time to take guitar pictures, I gravitate towards hers right way because of those beautiful inlays. I guess I should take a few pix of my guitar since I have never posted any.
