I bought it brand new from Guitar Rodeo when they were a Taylor dealer. And to answer your question, no, it feels great. Although I had to switch strings because the ones Taylor installed and recommend broke just from being in the case. But, I digress. I just want every guitar I own to be set up perfectly (I'm anal), with the lowest, best possible action without buzzing as I like to play finger style jazz (solo guitar). So, I got the Stew-Mac repair books, and along with other sources, I set the action as low as possible. My problem (one of many) is that I've never owned a nylon before, so have no idea what the action should actually feel like.
And again, my nylon is perfect as far as workmanship is concerned. Of course, the intonation sucks. But I think that's because I haven't spent enough time trying out different string brands, etc. It took me over an hour each time to install new strings when I changed sets, so I kinda shy away from nylon guitar string changes.
