The cool thing about Koa is that each set seems to have its own unique beauty. Judging from the set you have chosen,  I'll bet that it will be equally as beautiful.  Looking forward to the end result!

Thats another two weeks gone by. Still haven't heard anything about it yet. So I guess it will be next week or maybe its delayed. :( please don't make me wait eight months like a custom martin would .... fingers crossed!

Taylor's pretty good about staying on or ahead of schedule.  They have a scheduled shutdown coming up in the near future,  so there may be a slight delay. Hang in there!

They tend to take pre-set "company vacations" at certain times of the year, shutting down altogether over the big holidays.  The schedule is usually posted on their website.  But it is rarely for more than a week.

Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
