What is a good price?
« on: November 28, 2012, 10:17:46 AM »
I don't ever play my T-5 anymore and I am thinking of selling it.  What is a good selling price for a 2011 T-5 C-1 in perfect shape?

Love that blue finish,
A fair price is when both parties feel they did not get the better of the other.

Remember, there is a very big difference between price and value.

I just gave away two Taylors and I am very happy with the deal.
Both Taylors have more value to me as a wise investment, not only to show my appreciation of the past, but also to enhance the value of our future.

If you truly decide you must give this Taylor up, spend some time with it to say goodbye...

Sorry I did not really give you the answer, but 50% list is probably what the market will bare.

Sometimes the best way to get real and lasting value, is to play a few songs and cherish what the moment has to offer you.

Repeat as often as needed.

If the economy goes up, so does the value of your Guitar, but if the economy goes down your guitar will become even more precious.

I research prices on eBay to get a feel for what folks are paying for used guitars and gear. Since we can't discuss pricing, you'll have to determine your own bottom line.

My local store (that is nationally known and has a great reputation) has a few you could look at to get an idea.
Otherwise, I second the recommendation to check Ebay completed sales.

it's not about what you play,

The right acoustic would have to be a Taylor dread or GA and preferably something 500 series and above with ES system.
