Greeting from Minnesota
« on: September 30, 2015, 01:22:50 PM »
I have been playing for over 40 years. This is my first Taylor guitar. I bought a 214CE DLX. My old guitar, which I bought new was a 1973 Gibson Heritage. Has a recent neck reset on the Gibson. Although it plays well I like the Taylor so much more. Seems kind of funny that a 62 year old man like me can't wait to get home after work to play the Taylor.

Hi Jim and welcome to the UTGF! :) You selected a fabulous guitar, and it will bring you lots of joy! Have fun with it. Just be sure to peel yourself away from it once in a while to stop in here and say 'hi.' 8)

Greetings Jim.  Hope you stick around and enjoy this forum.  Was really taken by a 214ce dlx at the Roseville Guitar Center a few months ago.  Really nice sounding and playing guitar.

Welcome to the forum Jim.  I get up pretty early and can usually get in few licks before work.  Congratulations on the new 24ce DLX!
