They're still making K24's Kristen if you really want one.  But if I were starting down that road anew, I would opt for a K26.
(I like big bouts and I cannot lie.......)    :D

I may or may not have purchased a K26 today. Maybe. Maybe not  :o

So, Is that the one Taylor that you would keep or one of your other Taylors?  It is a beautiful Taylor and often they are great sounding.

I have two Taylors and a few other guitars.  If I had to choose, it would be my 814ce.  But, it is not fair to make one choose  ;)

Apparently, I can only have one Taylor. That's what my wife says. So it would be my GA7, cedar over EIR.

My one and only Taylor is a 2010 910. I don't play her as often I as should, she is my baby and my first high end guitar ever. She is protected in her original Taylor case with a humidipak and wiped down after every play session. She never leaves my home and she plays well to this day.

One that I already have? My BR-VII which is a lot like a 12-fret 522.

Hypothetically, say if I had to choose one model without playing it first? An 814.

We have done this thread before, but there has been the redesigned 800 and 600 series since then, so I would like to pose the question again. You can only have one Taylor, what would it be?

OK, so if only one I'd choose either:
1) 2013 FLtd 514 (engel spruce over figured mahog) or
2) any cedar/rw Taylor from the GA7/714 series of years back.

Of all of Taylor's considerable options and combinations, sonically these two really nail it.  I could truly live with either of these splendid guits doing all acoustic duty for me.

Difficult question. But I'd have to say my 2015 612ce 12-fret. So easy to perform with, it's small and so am I.   ;)

I think I could live with #1 as well.  As long as I could keep my Coco/Spruce, but now the list is the "one" pluse one, and that is the way it is with six string(Taylor) lovers.

My 150e.  Yes, it's a low level Taylor.  But it is the right guitar for our band.  In fact, just got back from a festival where we played 3 times a day for 4 days.  Loved being able to plug into the board for most of the shows. For the pure acoustic set, the 12 string was able to project across a fairly large room.  My bandmate's nyckelharpa needed a microphone for those shows.  Folks in the audience said I was fine without one.

It's also very stable and was able to tolerate the temperature and humidity changes without going all out of whack.  Was especially appreciated during a couple of jam sessions off the festival grounds.  In those instances needed to pull out the guitar and whack away, without much chance of tuning.

Great choices Edward.  Of course I'm a bit biased since I own #1 and a modern version of #2. Anyway you've got great taste!

I'd have to go with my 2015 614ce if I could only have one.
