Are there European roadshows and events?
« on: August 29, 2015, 01:11:43 PM »
Sorry if there are any typo's  coming up - I'm posting from my phone and it's a bit fiddly!

Does anyone know if there are any Taylor events in Europe in the not-too-distant future?  Since buying my new 816 a couple of weeks ago, I'm "all things Taylor" at the moment, and I'd love to have the opportunities other Taylorites in North America have - roadshows, events, factory tours etc.  Trouble is, I can't find any information,  or perhaps there's nothing planned in Europe?  If anyone knows, someone on this forum knows  ::)

There's a couple listed in France and Sweden but you didn't say where you were.
They certainly hold them fairly regularly in the uk because I've been to a couple in the last year or so.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the answer. I'm in Belgium, so getting around most of northern Europe isn't normally a problem.  Going  back to the UK is probably a bit more expensive as I'd more than likely have to fly, rent a car etc. But I'd do it if the event looked good.  Where did you find the information?  I checked the Taylor website but I didn't see anything there. I also have a contact at Taylor in Amsterdam but he's on extended vacation at the moment,  so no luck there either. Have you attended any of the events in the UK?  I've never been to anything like that before so I  don't really know what to expect,  but I have a feeling it's something I'd enjoy.

Yes I've been to a couple and they were very enjoyable.
The hard part is deciding whether to take your wallet or not, there tends to be discounts available but there's also some very expensive temptations temptations on offer too.

Yeeey!  And as if by magic, there is a Taylor Roadshow event at the store where I bought my 816ce, October this year.

Roadshow feedback will follow...
