How many here have some of Bob Colosi's products on their guitars and what do you have?
I have an 814CE with his double inlay bone pins, and a GS5CE with one of his bone saddle.

2004 914CE-L7 - previous owner had installed Bob Colosi premium ivory saddle, nut and bridge pins.

Have never A/B tested against the originals, but this guitar sounds exquisite, so I'm in no rush to change anything.

I agree on all counts. I get radiused unfinished saddles and do my own profiling. Excellent results.

I have purchased bone pins in various configurations from Bob - great guy and very knowledgeable/helpful.  I make my own nuts/saddles with blanks from LMI.  But my HD28 and my 414 CE both have Bob's bone pins, the HD has aged bone/ebony dot, the 414 has polished bone/ebony dot.

FWIW, it doesn't make any difference that I can tell in the sound.  On my Martin I have used the oem plastic pins, Bob's bone pins, and brass pins.  There was no noticeable change to the sound regardless.

I have a bone saddle and pins in my 810, and a set of bone pins in my D-18.
His buffalo horn picks are really nice too. I like the feel and tone of them.

Trying to decide now if I should put undyed or dyed pins, saddle and nut on the GS5CE because of how "brown" the cedar top is. Any thought or suggestions?

It's all a matter of personal taste - I prefer the pins to match the saddle/nut so if I have an aged bone saddle, then I used aged bone pins with an ebony dot; if a polished, non-aged bone saddle, then I use polished non-aged bone pins/ebony dots.  But just like picking a car color - do whatever YOU like!

I have used Bob's elephant ivory bridge pins and saddles... and the same in bone. Always a superior product and a friendly, easy transaction.
