UTGF Member Listing of Grand Orchestras
« on: March 10, 2013, 05:59:47 PM »
It seems obvious that Taylor has really hit a homerun with the new GO series as more than a few have shown up at UTGF. So out of a possible 300 first editions between the 918, 618 and 518,  I thought it would be interesting to see just how many of those X18's are here on the forum. Please add yours and even pics if you want!

I'm going to bump this and change the title as there might have been some confusion on what I was trying to accomplish.

If you own one of the new GO X18 models-918e, 618e, & 518e and eventually beyond, please list it in this thread! And although I'd like to get a running count of the intial 300, any and all future GO owners are welcome to post here and I hope you'll post pics with your count too!

Well, I was waiting untill I had a chance to take some pictures, but I have 618e GO 1st edition 55 of 100.

The really cool coincidence is I recieved number 55 two months to the day before my 55th birthday!

My 918e. Lucky Number 13.  I am currently trying out med-light Martin SPs. E=.0125.  I think they are just fine. Sooner or later, I am going to try lights.

Hello all, new here so I'll join this x18 listing with my lovely 618e. #98 of 100!

I have acquired #12 of 100 of the 618e First Edition. It is simply fantastic and the tone is remarkable.

I was away for a while.
Just came back and saw this cool thread!
So here are my GOs:

918e: #26 of 100
618e: #19 of 100

BTW, they are just back from the Taylor repair shop.
After about a month of playing, they started having some weird buzz coming from the ES board.
So I sent them back to the mother ship. They found that the harness that secures the ES board had a loose part.
They use a different type of harness for GOs (my guess is due to their size), which may be defective.
Anyway, they upgraded the TUSQ saddle and nut to the bone ones on my 618e for free!
Thanks Taylor for the great customer service.
