April 29th, thread "Please Help Me Identify these beautiful Taylor Guitars", page two, your message is the one before the last right now...It surprised me. I bet it's just your lacking of concentration : a 610 is a dread, not a GA or GC... ???

Apparently you didn't see Jericho's followup question about the guitar pictured in reply #11. That was the question to which I was responding . As I'm sure you can see, that's a 610, a maple dreadnought. Okay?
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

1997 Cujo14 - old growth cedar/black walnut
2014 K24e - master grade koa
2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany
2019 614 - torrified sitka spruce/flamed maple
2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

There was a run of K24ce's that were making their way on eBay and some weird international internet sites. I only buy from a dealer or a forum member I have come to know.

On youtube there is a guy from the UK who has a site 'chinaguitarsceptic.com' who buys and unboxes many different brands of fakes and lets you know about them. Most of them are pretty cheesy. Did one on the Taylor K24ce. You would have to be deaf, dumb and blind as a pinball wizard to be fooled by one.

Yes you are right Minnesotaman : I had seen these Chinaguitar videos...Interesting and useful...
I remember the time when I didn't know much about good guitars and sometimes fear I could have been fooled maybe though. Not so obvious to know when you are young however...

I haven't been on the forum lately : sorry for not answering earlier on.
Don't think Tommy would have felt the fake ?     :)

it's not about what you play,
