Wow, per my last post, all I was asking about was a mahogany dreadnaught...  :)

I haven't checked it out, but will. For my .02ยข, the info regarding AGF was per my usual experience here, kindly offered and welcomed.

I noticed you have a Ventura on your list. I came across one of those last week that was a real nice sounding guitar for its pedigree. This one was from the early 70's and its tuning was rock solid. Here's some pics. it really compared favorably with my '73 Takamine which is my main beater.
2006 Taylor 915ce
2002 Taylor 614ce
1973 Takamine 370S

2010 Mumbo Jumbo Hauser Concert Classical - Sapele/Spruce

How do you like your 614ce's? I'm thinking about selling the one pictured and trying to get a current value. thanks.
Michael

Hi Michael (@kenjiobi),

1.  We can't talk pricing here, its a forum rule. Even if we did, all it would be is opinions, which may or may not be accurate.
6.  You can use Ebay to search for what past actual sales amounts have been for 614ce models.  For the 915ce you could check Ebay but it would not surprise me if there are no records of past sales due to its rarity.

Hope this helps.

We can't talk PRICING HERE!? Wow, I did not know that... I thought even AGF gave up on that.  ???

To the OP, Gary gave you great advice... One word about ebay - look at the SOLD not the listed prices.  Also remember you're going to GIVE UP ALMOST XX% of that to ebay in fees!  :o  I had a Fender CS Strat to sell - looked at the values for the same model that had SOLD on Ebay - knocked off the XX% and listed it at that price on several of the guitar sites.  It sold in 24 hours on the Gear Page.   8)

I agree, all the advice here has been great. At the time of the original post and up to this moment I haven't seen a 915ce sold anywhere.

I appreciate everyone's kind words.

I hope @kenjiobi achieves what he wants and it all works out.

I do appreciate the past (2011 and earlier) Taylor jumbos, and I *really* appreciate the 9XX series.  So what a combination of those in a 915ce !

I vote:  Keep it, never let it out of your grasp!  But that's just me.   :)

Once again @kenjiobi my best wishes to you!

My Ventura is a MJ (mini Jumbo) body and spruce over mahogany wood combo. I bought it in 2002 or 03 from a small music shop in Pueblo, CO. She has a great sound for such an inexpensive guitar, and she is my main beater (the one I have flown with and use at the campfire for anywhere I don't want to risk my Taylors getting mistreated). My teenage son has been playing her for the last 2 years and he has worn the frets down so bad that half the notes he tries to play just buzz. :) I had a Fishman electronics system put in right when I bought her (that cost more than the guitar did) and I've played her plugged in an unplugged and greatly enjoy both. I don't see many Venturas out there new or used, so I don't know much abt who or how or where they are mfg'd, but I have loved my cheap little Ventura for 10 years now. Yours looks very nice too. You have a nice list of guitars there!

I still would love to have the 915ce!!  ;D

Here are some pics of my Ventura MJ...

The mini jumbo looks like it's just the right size for me. I think we have Ventura's from different companies though. Here is a link to some info on the '70's model that I have.

http://www.catoosatrading.com/ventura_guitar.html

They were imported from Japan by C. Bruno and Company in the 60's and 70's. I thought yours was from that company but it looks like an entirely different outfit.

My guitar list is too long hence my need to trim a bit. Very conflicted about the 915ce though. The more I play it the more I love it... I noticed a 915ce thread earlier today and will post some new pics of mine there with some comments.

I just edited my post to include 3 pics of my Ventura MJ. Interesting about yours vs mine and maybe being 2 totally different companies. Jumbos and Mini Jumbos are all I own... I can't stand Dreads and I may break down and get a 214ce, but other than that, I am a JUMBO man all the way!  :)
