Fresh from El Cajon, the Academy Series 10E. At NAMM Andy was rather proud of these, and it's clear to see why.

i think that's the first one i've seen available -
any chance of doing an a10e vs BBT video ???

just curious to hear the tonal effect of
the deeper body & shorter scale length

Hi Michael,

We are actually not setup to do videos right now, but what you get is a bit more bass, and a slightly warmer tone. The BBT is actually one of my favorite acoustic in that size/price point, the armrest, and fuller, warmer tone of the A10 will definitely work better, and longer for the beginners it was designed for. Well worth the extra $100 IMO.

I have to say, that 812ce 12-fret Deluxe made me drool! So much so that I started checking out the import duty/VAT on importing it from the US to the UK. That's where I ran into that old brick wall called reality!

Pretty cool, Ted!  Good to hear from you again......  I'm loving the Blackbird Farallon ukulele you sold me last December.  Played it for two hours leading our uke club last night, and one gal will likely be in touch soon about a Clara.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby
