Hello from Japan
« on: July 21, 2017, 11:30:17 PM »
Hi everyone, Kohntarkosz here...I'm an American guy living in Japan.
I picked up a GS Mini-e Koa last year, and I really love it.  I recently ordered a 612 12-fret (no cutaway, no electronics), and it should be here in about 6 weeks.
More to follow!

Welcome! I just ordered and received a no e, no c 914. Purely acoustic love! Maybe you can post pics of your 612 for us after you get it.

Welcome aboard. I'm another non-cutaway fan. I'll bet you're gonna love that 612 when it finally arrives. Congrats!

Thanks!
Coming from classical guitar, the cutaway just doesn't look balanced to me.  But I'm sure they are lovely guitars, and obviously most people prefer them since it seems they're the overwhelming majority of Taylor's production.
Anyway, long time bass player here, I've been playing guitar for about 8 years and I'm also learning to play electric lately.
