Yep, I love my two RT's.  I was on a tangent to get a new one every year or so, but I guess that's on hold for a while...

Anyway, my first is a 2011 Style 2, sinker redwood over EIR, bloodwood binding and backstrap, adi bracing, short scale, mahogany neck, slim carve, Gotoh 510 tuners, bloodwood/abalone neck inlay and rosette, Jescar fretwires, camel bone pins.

My second just arrived, a 2011 Style 1 12-string, sitka over flame maple, ebony head overlay, adi bracing, ebony binding, slim carve, standard scale, ebony tuner buttons, Gotoh 510 tuners, Jescar fretwires, camel bone pins, abalone rosette.  And to make it a little more special, I've been told by my dealer after he talked with Michael Lille at NAMM that it was the last 12-string RT to roll off the line.

And I'm still on the prowl for others!  :-)

I've posted these elsewhere on this forum, but it seems appropriate to put some pics here too.

Here's my 2008 RT2

Outstanding, gents!!  I certainly never tire of looking at RTs.  The way the headstock "flows" into the neck, and the whole silhouette ...just a gorgeous guitar!  Lots has already been said about their meticulous build quality, attention to details, and top-notch woods, but I know the tone of my 12er and my Style 2 are what keep me so enthralled; truly amazing to behold in every sense, these RTs.  Huge congrats to you quake!  Not to mention big thumbs up on the jescar wire.  If I had "ordered" mine, I'd have done the same.  After owning a Tele with SS frets, I'll never refret again in nickel.
And thanks for moving your pics over this RT thread, Bill.  My pics are buried somewhere in that other "pic thread"...

My R Taylor Style 1 - Adirondack / Ziricote - has been my go to since I received it. A true pleasure to play each time. These pics are from the dealer and R Taylor since I have zero photography skills!

These two pics the folks at R Taylor were nice enough to take and send me:

My RT2 arrived yesterday! I got my order in about a day before they stopped taking them, so it's one of the last fully custom builds, at least for now..
Its a very sweet sounding and playing guitar for sure..
I wanted to try a 1 7/8 nut after liking one at a Road Show event, and also got what they call "Presentation Burst", with a mix of dark black edges, reds, then yellow..
Its nicer than my photos allow for, I struggled to get a decent shot at all, with shadows, light, and reflection.. Will get some better ones soon though!

Lovely guitars one and all.  That's a gorgeous burst davwir.  Pretty spectacular ziricote delts2000.  Can't get enough pics of RT's.

Sorry about the varying hues ...definitely not as "red" or "orange" as the pics suggest as it is a lovely honeyburst in person.

And sounds glorious!

All, thanks for sharing!
I took receipt on a BTO late last year and as I couldn't really get what I was looking for at RT at the time. And even though I love it, I can't help but wonder what it would be like to have one, and hope to have one at some point.

Edward.. that Quilt is unreal..  I am seriously distracted from all rational thought.. lol
I am now salivating over the idea of doing a similar BTO, in a 12 Fret GA Non Cutaway..

Stunning. That just might be my favorite R.Taylor I've ever seen. And that's saying something because there are some beautiful guitars in this thread!
