New Guy...New Taylor!

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum, new Taylor owner (kind of) and actually new to the world of guitar!

I'm 44 years old and never played but have wanted to for a long, long time. Thanks to a great sale, I put my first guitar, a Taylor 114E on layaway. That's why i say "kind of". The guitar isn't in hand yet, but will be very soon.

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and I cant wait to soak up all the info in the forum.

Welcome to guitar-playing DaddyDuncan. That's a nice sounding/playing guitar. Great "bang-for-the-buck".  Have fun learning.  Hey so I've been learning a lot of songs by googling "how to play [song title] on guitar" on Youtube.

I too use YouTube and use the free YTD Video downloader so I can put the lessons on a USB drive to watch anytime on my TV or my computer.
Welcome to the forum and the Taylor built guitars.
