1st time Taylor owner in Alaska
« on: October 09, 2016, 11:53:15 PM »
I've wanted a Taylor for about 15 years now, but as an on again-off again beginner/intermediate player could never justify owning one. I recently started getting more serious about my playing though. Figured if I got "good" maybe in a year or so I'd buy one.

A buddy and I were bored and decided to hit up some pawnshops. I couldn't believe it when I saw a Taylor 510 sitting on the rack. With the exception of a small humidity crack on the soundboard (which appears to have been professionally repaired) it's in like-new condition. I won't mention price, but I got it and the pink poodle case for less than what a typical laminate student guitar costs.

I finally own a Taylor!
Happy to be on the board and looking forward to meeting folks and improving my playing.
Boo
