Taylorgirl you need to wipe the smirk off your smiley face this instant.  This is serious buisiness.

Having bought a number of Taylor’s since 1991 I would think they would want to send me W&S but they dropped me last year, I called, then they dropped me again!
Gives me a chance to visit my local luthier who they ship a bunch to, but still, you would think they would want us “Taylor Geeks” to have the latest. We may be the most susceptible to GAS.
A quick add- now that I think of it, I came home from a trip and the new W&S was there(2010) with the “new” GS Mini on the cover. My wife saw me glance at it and said “your going to want that”. I swung by the local store when the Taylor rep (Monty) came by with a few and bought one of the first ones, it became my 1st really nice travel guitar and still sounds and plays great. That article(which my wife had read, hmm) sold a guitar I otherwise would not have known about and didn’t know I was in the market for.

Your comment made me laugh, thanks.

I've often wondered about this (given how awesome the W&S publication is)...........
Do you think temptation can set in with the mail handlers along the route, making copies "disappear" into someone else's hands? I know it can't be proved and it's just my speculation on my part. But, I guess if you call Taylor and they don't have your address in the database, then that's the source of the problem.

So I called Taylor but Bob was unavailable.  However, I did talk to a very helpful person.  I am in the Taylor database and he will pass along the information to the distribution manager to verify I am in that database as well.  In the meantime he is going to send out the latest edition to me.   Great customer service.  We evan talked about my dead Taylorsense, more on that in another thread.

I got mine today.  8) Usually it's weeks after folks start getting their copies.

It does appear they have a random number generator which determines how many issues you get before you have to pester them or "re-register" a guitar to get on the list again.

My copy always arrives weeks later than I hope. But I just took a look at the online edition and I'm delighted to find that the long question I sent to "Ask Bob" some time ago has received a thoughtful response.
