TC Helicon "Singthing"
« on: November 11, 2017, 06:02:22 PM »
Got the Sweetwater email for this product, any comments good or bad?
I know it's new and probably no one has one, TC Helicon seems to have a good idea here.

Don't really understand all this equipment so don't know if it is junk or a decent product.

Also the clip I thought mention recording but do not see it mention anywhere.

TC Helicon has been doing these vocal processors for quite a while now.  FWIW, they get decent-to-excellent reviews, not to mention TC Electronics enjoys lots of love for their pedals.

But to your point, I've used their simple pedal Harmonizer, and liked it ...set subtly (don't go nuts with the effect settings), it sounded clean and natural.  Because I wanted a couple of presets, I eventually went with the Harmony G-XT.  Still use it today: great pedal, very clean and tasteful when set light, and dialing in more harmony still sounds good ...again, don't go too heavy or it can sound like cheesy robotic pop ;)

So while I have no idea about this unit, try a store that allows you a return option (like sweetwater) to see if it's something that can work for you.
