What's your UTGF name mean?
« on: May 22, 2017, 08:18:57 AM »
Hello All,

Looking at some of the names used on the forum got me wondering what they mean and or where they come from. Some are pretty straight forward but others are not. This thread is an opportunity to learn what's behind some of the UTGF names and to post your info if you would like. So...

I have used my UTGF name for some time. Three of the letters in Epic are my initials (in order of my first, middle and last names), adding the forth letter made the word, which I think is cool. Audio is just what I do.

Mine is self-explanatory. Boring, huh?!  ::)
But, since I only have Taylor's now in my life, it only makes sense.

Only in silence the word,
Only in dark the light,
Only in dying life:
Bright the hawk's flight
On the empty sky.

When I used to play professionally back in N.Y., many audiences seemed enthralled with my energetic strumming style. Someone once called me a "strumming fool", and the name stuck...that's it!

Knight is what I am by name.
I am a (old) east coast surfer, it would make sense to me that a lot of guitarist were once surfers.

Maybe I just like the Cindy inlay. ;D

While I do love the inlay, mine is simply my name. Guess I should have been a little more creative when selecting a user name--lol. ;)

I was joining a well known online auction site and needed to create a username; one of their suggestions for creating a username, was to use the name of the place you lived and a favourite animal. At the time I was working in the Shetland Islands, at a base called Royal Air Force Saxa Vord, and I like cats; so the name Saxacat was born.

Very boring really  ::)
