Taylor Nylon String
« on: January 04, 2018, 01:46:40 PM »
I'm a long-time Taylor steel string player just recently branching out to nylon string. Not wanting to break the bank right out of the gate I've started looking about for a 200 series used model. I see that Taylor seems to have dropped all nylon string production below the 300 series, which concerns me. Does anyone on the forum have experience with a 100 or 200 series nylon string guitar? Are you happy with the guitar?

Check out Taylor's new (2017) Academy Series nylon GC 12-fret. I have played the GC steel string and was quite impressed. Comfortable to play, a nice arm radius, great tone, and a wonderful price tag. A 12-fret version in the nylon is a plus! If you want all the Taylor quality, playability and tone at a reasonable price, you should look at these.
