Recording from a Taylor 501 - LE
« on: November 25, 2017, 06:27:38 AM »
Hi Guys. I'm a novice to recording and a bit of an old boy so don't understand the lingo!!!!
I'm trying to record on Garageband ( just voice and guitar). I'm finding that my guitar sounds good on the low strings but the higher strings sound a bit tinney.
Is this a common issue and what can I do about it.
I've looked at interfaces to plug in two mics but to be honest I find it all a bit confusing. If this is the solution and I don't know whether it is, I don't have a lot of money to spend so can anyone recommend the right set up budget wise. I'm only recording for myself not for commercial reasons.
Any help gratefully received
Mike

Moved this topic to "Lessons, Recordings, How Tos, Repair, Accessories". Hopefully you'll get responses here.
