Need a capo? Meet G7th The Capo Company!
« on: January 13, 2017, 11:41:47 AM »
Hello all! I'm Simon Campling, and I work for G7th The Capo Company. We're a small company based in the UK; there's me working on Marketing & Social Media, my Dad (Nick Campling) who designs all of our capos, Noel Sheehan is the MD and Séamus Brady on Marketing & Artist Relations. We ONLY make capos, and we aim to make the best capos money can buy!

While you could just nip over to www.g7th.com to check out all of the ranges, let me talk you through a few of them now...

1. The Performance 2

Our flagship, multiple-award winning capo. Simply squeeze it into place - the patented clutch allows you to apply the exact tension you want to, just as if you were squeezing a barre chord. This level of control means you'll keep your guitar in tune!
The Performance 2 (and all of our other capos) are made with a virtually inert silicone rubber, so you know that there will be no metal-to-wood contact that could damage your guitar neck. We've also made sure that your instrument's tone will be preserved when the capo is in place. It's easy to store either on the peghead or just behind in the nut! And, as with all of our capos, the Performance 2 has our Lifetime Warranty - if for any reason it stops working or you feel there's something wrong with it then just get in touch! See more here: https://www.g7th.com/performance-2-capo or watch a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lM7uVPtRMjQ&t=12s
Available in good music stores and from G7th.com now!

2. The BRAND NEW UltraLight capo

At 8g / 0.25oz, this is lightest capo on the market. It's also our most affordable capo yet, retailing at $9.99. Don't be fooled by the low price though; this capo has been meticulously-designed and crafted from next generation composite materials to give outstanding performance and durability, AND with our Lifetime Warranty. Simply click, twist and play! You can see more here: https://www.g7th.com/ultralight or watch a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pzwuEq-518
Available now from G7th.com and heading into music stores very soon!

Any questions and comments are very welcome! We're off to the NAMM Show next week (Hall E, booth 1225 if you're there!), so I'll post some information on the Heritage, Newport and Nashville capos when we're back, and maybe a contest too...!  :)

I got mine about a month or is it two months ago, well I am not sure, but it is pretty new.

I really like them.  It never alters the tuning.  Goes on easy, and they have a unique release lever.  Mine is very cool to look at also.

That's a fancy-schmancy one! Gotta check it out. :) I have the original G7th capo--and it might like a companion. ;D
